I grouped with two hostel mates to taxi to hotel Molika (1420 m) and hiked therefrom in the Pelister National Park, a 17,150-hectare nature preserve on the north side of Mount Baba. Its mild climate and gentle slope make it ideal for hiking and skiing. Pelister National Park is home to a unique array of flora and fauna, as well as natural springs, waterfalls. We ran into rain, made a detour to Yorgov Karem of 1744 m, and got cold so only hiked to a 1936 meter high view point Vanguard, instead of the peak pelister of 2601 m. — at Nacionalen Park Pelister.
